Enjoy a Festival of Calypso Cricket and Sun Kissed Caribbean Beaches

The much anticipated schedule for the inaugural 2013 Caribbean Premier League tournament has been announced and matches will be played in six vibrant cricket venues throughout the Caribbean. The brand new Sir Vivian Richards stadium in Antigua &Barbuda, stately Kensington Oval in Barbados, sizzling hot Sabina Park in Jamaica, picturesque Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad, Saint Lucia’s beautiful Beausejour to Providence Cricket Ground in  Guyana.

 

The tournament kicking off in Barbados on 30 July with an opening ceremony followed by a Barbados v St Lucia match.  The games will be played on various days throughout the four week period. There will be a three-day break before the two semi-finals, the final match and the closing ceremony which will take place in Trinidad & Tobago on Saturday, 24 August.  Sundays through the tournament will feature a doubleheader with matches taking place at 3pm and 7:30pm.

 

Exciting cricket is expected with top overseas icon players former Australia captains Adam Gilchrist and Ricky Ponting, ex-New Zealand captain Ross Taylor, Pakistan Twenty20 International captain Mohammad Hafeez, Herschelle Gibbs of South Africa and Sri Lanka spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan. Not to be left out six top West Indies stars Dwayne Bravo, Chris Gayle, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Darren Sammy and Marlon Samuels.

  • ‘Googly’ tour, departs from Gatwick for Kingston, Jamaica on 12 August, 2013 and returns from Trinidad on 26 August, 2013. It takes in the games closing ceremony in Trinidad and Tobago.  The cost is from £2,199 per person based on 2 sharing or single from £2,999
